Do you get excited by working on cutting-edge Deep Learning models to bring Artificial Intelligence applications to the next level? We are expanding our team with a Senior Deep Learning Engineer to optimize the latest deep neural networks for our state-of-the-art neural-network accelerator chip. Your work will bridge the gap between various Machine Learning applications (security camera, drone, retail, robotics, etc.)  and deep learning acceleration.

This position is open for applicants in Belgium.

Your role 

Your role will include the following: 

• Thoroughly studying and implementing existing Neural Network optimization techniques (quantization, pruning, graph optimization, etc.) and improving them
• Understanding and implementing (Pytorch, Tensorflow, etc.) the latest CV deep learning networks (CNNs, vision transformers, etc.)
• Supporting the Integration of the optimization tools into the compiler flow
• Keeping track of the literature on Neural Networks and optimization techniques
• Collaborating with software developers
• Communicating your results to team members

Your profile 

• Preferably a PhD with research performed on Deep Learning
• At least 5 years of experience with Python (Numpy, Scipy)
• At least 4 years of experience with a deep learning framework like Pytorchor Tensorflow 
• Strong understanding of the inner-workings and applications of recent CNNs, MLPs, RNNs and transformers 
• Preferably experience with optimizing neural networks (Quantization, pruning, NAS, etc.)
• Preferably experience with Torch FX
• Preferably experience with Neural Network compilers
• Problem-solving mindset, capable of debugging and patching software issues
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Fluent in English, both in speaking and writing
• You are a team player and you are also able to autonomously plan and perform research tasks
• You have a strong sense of responsibility and want to realize high ambitions
