Deep Learning Computer Vision Engineer (m/f/d)

Do you get excited by working on cutting-edge Computer Vision models to bring Artificial Intelligence applications to the next level? We are expanding our team with a Deep Learning Computer Vision Engineer to optimize the latest deep neural networks for our state-of-theart neural-network accelerator chip. Your work will bridge the gap between various computer vision applications (security camera, drone, retail, robotics, etc.) and deep learning acceleration.

Your role

Your role will mainly include the following:

  • Understanding and implementing (Pytorch, Tensorflow, etc.) the latest CV deep learning networks (CNNs, vision transformers, etc.) 
  • Thoroughly studying various CV applications (security camera, drone, retail, robotics, etc.) for object detection, segmentation, pose-estimation, etc., to pinpoint the relevant hardware needs (DSP, memory, bandwidth, throughput, etc.) 
  • Using our tools to optimize CV networks so they run efficiently on our chip 
  • Communicating your results to team members and costumers
  • Keeping track of the deep learning literature, spotting interesting new models (CNNs, transformers, etc.)

Your profile

  • At least 4 years of experience with Python (Numpy, Scipy)
  • At least 4 years of experience with a deep learning framework like Pytorch or Tensorflow 
  • Experience with one or more CV applications
  • Strong understanding of the inner-workings and applications of recent CNNs, MLPs, RNNs and transformers
  • Preferably experience with optimizing neural networks
  • Problem-solving mindset, capable of debugging and patching software issues
  • Good oral and written communication skills 
  • Fluent in English, both in speaking and writing 
  • You are a team player and you are also able to autonomously plan and perform research tasks
  • You have a strong sense of responsibility and want to realize high ambitions

SoC Architect (m/f/d)

As SoC Architect within our newly launched international deep-tech Start-Up you get the chance to make real impact on the design and development of the SoC architecture of a game-changing hardware and software platform for AI at the edge. You take ownership for the definition and implementation of the whole SoC architecture activities.

Your role

Your role will mainly include the following:

  • Take the ownership of all architectural aspects of design and development of large SOCs, SOC blocks and sub-systems; 
  • Give direction to the hardware team on Integration, Interconnect, Power Management, 3rd party IP integration, clocking and reset; 
  • Performance analysis and benchmarking 
  • Lead the 3rd party IP selection

Your profile

  • MSc or PhD with several years of industrial experience in semiconductor SOC /multiprocessor design 
  • 8+ years of industrial experience in semiconductor SOC /multiprocessor design 
  • You have demonstrated extensive experience in architecting multiprocessor systems
  • You are able to translate high level architecture requirement into microarchitecture details and work close to RTL and verification team 
  • You are familiar with AI/ML NN deployment 
  • You are a proactive & goal oriented self-starter and problem solver 
  • Good communication and presentation skills
  • Fluent in English, both in speaking and writing; fluency in Dutch is a plus

Deep Learning Engineer for Quantization Aware Training (m/f/d)

Most Deep Learning Engineers work with pretrained models and few still train their own. However, Deep Learning builds on Learning, hence training. Yet good training demands a deep insight in your model and an intuition about what methods facilitate learning. Quantizationaware-training allows the neural network to compensate for the information loss caused by quantization and can be vital for optimally deploying networks. Are you the expert in this Deep Learning field? Then this is THE job for you!

Your role

Your role will mainly include the following:

  • Understanding and implementing the latest deep learning networks (Pytorch, Tensorflow, etc.) 
  • Optimizing these networks so they run efficiently on our chip using state-of-the-art quantization-aware-training algorithms 
  • Keeping track of the deep learning literature on training algorithms, novel models and quantization 
  • Working with clusters of GPUs
  • Communicating your results to team members

Your profile

  • At least 3 years of experience with Python (Numpy, Scipy) 
  • At least 3 years of experience with a deep learning framework like Pytorch or Tensorflow 
  • Strong understanding of the inner-workings and applications of recent CNNs, MLPs, RNNs and transformers 
  • Preferably experience with quantizing neural networks and network optimizations for ASICs. Having previous experience with quantization-aware-training is clearly a plus
